This list is to give you an example of common costs; check with your lender for specific costs.
Obtain a Good Faith Estimate at the first meeting. Don’t be afraid to ask questions; you are the client!

• Ask your Realtor or lender if any of these costs can be paid by the seller.

• Does your employer pay any of these cost (for relocation?)

• Can any of these items be paid by relatives as a "gift"?

• Are any of these items optional?

• If you are required to provide money at the time of closing, how long must that money have been in your account?

• Is this a government program where they will loan you money for some or all of these costs?
